How to stop shower glass leaks
Seals, sealant, spray aim, and slope: the four places shower water actually escapes.

Glass itself does not leak. When water shows up on the floor after a shower, the cause is almost always one of four places: the seals, the sealant line against the tile, the entry geometry, or where the head is aimed. Replacing a panel is the last thing to do about it.
Cause one is worn seals. Magnetic strips and bottom sweeps stiffen over time and stop compressing. They still look intact, which is why nobody suspects them. It is the cheapest part of the assembly and it swaps out in a single visit.
Cause two is perimeter sealant. If the joint has lifted off the tile or darkened, water travels behind it and surfaces outside the shower. Re-running sealant locally fixes it; waiting soaks the substrate and turns into tile work.

Cause three is spray direction. We regularly find showers where somebody rotated the head after a remodel, or installed a wider spray pattern, and now it hits the vertical seam or the hinge side of the door. No enclosure wins against a stream aimed at a gap.
Cause four is slope and curb. If the floor carries water toward the glass line instead of the drain, it pools at the curb and hunts for an exit. Seals will not fix that: the base needs review, and sometimes a drip sweep or a different bottom seal.
On new installs: do not water-test before 24 hours have passed after sealing — uncured sealant loses adhesion. Before you replace any glass, ask for a diagnosis through measure and install; healthy joints are visible throughout the gallery.
