What a custom glass shower costs
What drives price: glass, hardware, measure, delivery, and install — ballparks without hard quotes.
A custom shower price is not one list line — it’s a sum of specs. Base factors are glass area and thickness, enclosure type (alcove, corner, panel, door, tub, U-cabin), and opening style. Hinged, roller sliding, and folding systems differ in hardware and install labor.
Then glass upgrades: extra-clear, tint, frost, pattern. Metal finish — chrome, matte black, bronze, gold — changes the package. Nonstandard height, trapezoid corners, cutouts for plumbing, and heavier bars add to cut and install cost.
A turnkey total usually includes measure, fabrication, delivery, and install. Fabrication is often about 10 business days — we confirm with shop load and complexity. If renovations are ongoing, measure after finished tile so levels are final.

Skipping measure to “save” almost always costs more: glass can’t be remade cheaply, and leaks spoil finishes and patience. Compare one or two opening styles for your layout and keep hardware rated for the glass weight.
